We are excited to bring Poland Provisions, a cafe & general store, to our community. We believe in supporting local
producers and artisans with a focus on Maine-Made!

Building a new store is challenging and we are putting all our effort into this project. For that reason, we are pausing our baking until we can move into the new store.
Thank you for your patience and we promise we will be back bringing you the pies and goodies you love!
The Kitchen
Our licensed home kitchen is where we started producting our specialty salsas, nut butters, and pickled vegetables. In addition, we offer a variety of baked goods using seasonal fruits and products. We use locally sourced products from area produers as much as possible. Our baked goods are made to order only. All other products are available and in stock here at the farm- just let us know you are coming and we can have it ready for you!

A Slice of Heaven on Earth
If you are in the Central Maine area, give us a call to come by and visit the farm! We are located near Poland Spring Inn, Sabbathday Shaker Village, Range Pond, and Gathering Winds Farm & Orchard.
We have nearby hiking and ATV trails in the summer and snowmobile trails in the winter.
We are just 45 minutes from Sunday River Ski Area and Portland.
We also have a home kitchen where we produce specialty salsas and baked goods!
Attwood Farm Mission Statement
Attwood Farm & Kitchen is a diverse farm with beef and sheep used for meat and wool production, horses for pleasure, and chicken and ducks for eggs. We also have vegetable gardens, a small apple orchard and various fruit plants used to produce quality food products in our licensed home kitchen. We are dedicated to raising animals in a natural and sustainable fashion with the strictest attention to animal health and comfort. These practices ensure a superior quality of meat and value added products for our customers. We love building our community connections here at our picturesque farm and are excited to help others learn about farming!
History
Attwood Farm, as we know it today, was first owned by Samuel Smith Jess who acquired the land in 1765 when this area was still a part of Massachusetts. It’s unclear when Thomas and Mary West bought the land, but on April 27, 1779 the West’s sold the land to a Samuel Emerson, for 8 pounds 8 shillings of silver money and 60 pounds paper money (before the US had it’s own monetary system). Susanna Emerson, we suspect her to be Samuel’s mother, gifted the land to her grandson Samuel Emerson, who she cared for after his father Jonathan Emerson died.
